This artwork by Roy Turner Durrant achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2019. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Untitled sold for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,611.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roy Turner Durrant; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figure sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78).

In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Untitled für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.611,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roy Turner Durrant; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figure im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.273,78).
