Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The flood, February '53 by Roy Turner Durrant was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in July 2010. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 601.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Roy Turner Durrant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78).
