Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Roy Turner Durrant was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,426.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Roy Turner Durrant have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Figure was auctioned for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Roy Turner Durrant kam im März 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.426,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Roy Turner Durrant konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Figure für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.273,78) versteigert.
