Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nine Heads by Roy Turner Durrant was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,503.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roy Turner Durrant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nine Heads von Roy Turner Durrant kam im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.503,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Roy Turner Durrant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.273,78) versteigert wurde.
