Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work First Precinct Scooters by Ron Kleemann. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,000.00 (€ 27,620.76), 23% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ron Kleemann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (20/20) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit First Precinct Scooters von Ron Kleemann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.000,00 (€ 27.620,76) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ron Kleemann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit (20/20) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
