In July 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Prints and Multiples Online, which included the work Can-Tankerous by Ron Kleemann. The »bidding war« ended at USD 250.00 (€ 224.62), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Kleemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (20/20) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).

Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Prints and Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Can-Tankerous von Ron Kleemann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 250,00 (€ 224,62) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Kleemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (20/20) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 181.000,00 (€ 123.229,85).
