Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Willow, Mullem (from the series Flanders Trees) by Rodney Graham was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,500.00 (€ 34,978.06). Admittedly, works by Rodney Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Inverted Drip Painting #47 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Willow, Mullem (from the series Flanders Trees) von Rodney Graham wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 31.500,00 (€ 34.978,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodney Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Inverted Drip Painting #47 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
