This artwork by Rockwell Kent achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2021. In the Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection auction, the work Hail And Farewell sold for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,304.52) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rockwell Kent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rockwell Kent erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection wurde die Arbeit Hail And Farewell für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.304,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rockwell Kent erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gray Day im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 852.500,00 (€ 805.917,94).
