Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Ángel doméstico by Roberto Fabelo for USD 49,140.00 (€ 45,792.56). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roberto Fabelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Perrerío in March last year with an auction result of USD 579,600.00 (€ 522,491.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ángel doméstico von Roberto Fabelo für USD 49.140,00 (€ 45.792,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roberto Fabelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Perrerío im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.600,00 (€ 522.491,66).
