Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roberta Silva achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2010. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Soffio sold for USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,180.05) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roberta Silva; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Basta Un Soffio sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Soffio für USD 21.250,00 (€ 17.180,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64).
