This artwork by Roberta Silva achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2008. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work A Blow Is Enough sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,532.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roberta Silva; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Basta Un Soffio sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva erzielte im Februar 2008 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit A Blow Is Enough für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.532,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64).
