Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Sans Titre by Robert Wilson for EUR 375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Marion Lambert at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Wilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Civil War Act I, II, III, IV, V, 72 works in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 43,409.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans Titre von Robert Wilson für EUR 375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Collection Marion Lambert bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Wilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Civil War Act I, II, III, IV, V, 72 works im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 43.409,48).
