Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Wilson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2021. In the Collection Marion Lambert auction, the work Orlando Part Ii sold for EUR 6,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Civil War Act I, II, III, IV, V, 72 works in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 43,409.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Wilson erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Marion Lambert wurde die Arbeit Orlando Part Ii für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Wilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Civil War Act I, II, III, IV, V, 72 works im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 43.409,48).
