In the American Art auction, the work Portrait of Gardner Kendall sold for USD 12,112.50 (€ 9,933.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert William Vonnoh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blue Chair in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03).

In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait of Gardner Kendall für USD 12.112,50 (€ 9.933,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert William Vonnoh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blue Chair im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 52.962,03).
