A top price for Robert William Vonnoh - as previously expected
In December 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work The Blue Chair by Robert William Vonnoh. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Blue Chair is the most expensive artwork by Robert William Vonnoh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Blue Chair von Robert William Vonnoh zur Versteigerung kam.
