Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fecund Autumn by Robert William Vonnoh was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,565.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert William Vonnoh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Chair in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03).

Die Arbeit Fecund Autumn von Robert William Vonnoh kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.565,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert William Vonnoh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blue Chair im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 52.962,03).
