Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Mending the Earth by Robert ParkeHarrison. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,540.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert ParkeHarrison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suspension, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mending the Earth von Robert ParkeHarrison zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.540,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert ParkeHarrison mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suspension beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77) versteigert wurde.
