Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Ovale by Robert Marc was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,135.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Marc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Ovale von Robert Marc wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.135,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Marc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 36.878,56).
