Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstract by Robert Marc was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,575.00 (€ 11,330.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Marc - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2020 for USD 44,062.50 (€ 36,878.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abstract von Robert Marc kam im Mai 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.575,00 (€ 11.330,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Marc mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2020 für USD 44.062,50 (€ 36.878,56) versteigert wurde.
