Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Store by Richard Wentworth was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 3,600.00 (€ 2,721.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Wentworth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work There, which sold at auction in April 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,927.76).
