Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Line by Richard Tuttle was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,634.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Tuttle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Picture in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,424,933.30).
