Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Beast of Burden by Richard Mosse was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,757.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Richard Mosse have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Nowhere to Run (Infra series) was auctioned for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,447.75).
