Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work La Vie en Rose by Richard Mosse. The price achieved of GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,599.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Mosse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nowhere to Run (Infra series), which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,447.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Vie en Rose von Richard Mosse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.710,00 (€ 12.599,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Mosse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nowhere to Run (Infra series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.447,75) versteigert wurde.
