Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Triumph of the Will by Richard Mosse. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,640.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Mosse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nowhere to Run (Infra series), which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,447.75).
