(40 1 ⁄ 2 x 50 1 ⁄ 2 in.) Ce tirage est le numéro un d'une édition de cinq exemplaires et une épreuve d'artiste. C-PRINT, FLUSH-MOUNTED ON ALUMINIUM; SIGNED IN INK ON TYPED GALLERY LABEL WITH TITLE, DATE AND EDITION NUMBER '1/5 + 1 AP' (FLUSH MOUNT, VERSO)
Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, 2011 by Richard Mosse. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,120.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Mosse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nowhere to Run (Infra series), which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,447.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, 2011 von Richard Mosse zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Mosse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nowhere to Run (Infra series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.447,75) versteigert wurde.
