The work Painting Relief August 1966 by Richard Lin was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 37,800.00 (€ 38,638.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work January 1967 in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 7,670,000.00 (€ 844,082.77).

Die Arbeit Painting Relief August 1966 von Richard Lin wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 38.638,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit January 1967 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.670.000,00 (€ 844.082,77).
