Both elements signed, the dot with initials, the line dated, both numbered 'AP 6/6' in white paint on the reverse (an artist's proof, the edition was 12), published by Brooke Alexander Editions, New York.

Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Exclamation Point by Richard Artschwager for USD 5,080.00 (€ 4,806.96). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Artschwager achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior with Sideboard I in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,272,000.00 (€ 945,514.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Exclamation Point von Richard Artschwager für USD 5.080,00 (€ 4.806,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Artschwager erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior with Sideboard I im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.272.000,00 (€ 945.514,01).
