A top price for Calvert Richard Jones
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included the work Boats, Naples, 1846 by Calvert Richard Jones. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,802.07), 40% above the upper estimate. With this result, Boats, Naples, 1846 is even the most expensive work of art by Calvert Richard Jones that we have observed at auctions so far.
