Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Harbour scene by Calvert Richard Jones. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,971.09), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Calvert Richard Jones have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,802.07) in May 2005 for the work Boats, Naples, 1846.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harbour scene von Calvert Richard Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 14.971,09) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Calvert Richard Jones haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.802,07) im Mai 2005 für die Arbeit Boats, Naples, 1846 beobachtet.
