This artwork by Ren Zhe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. In the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions auction, the work Invincible sold for HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,421.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Zhe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Infinite Sprit of Allegiance in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 280,315.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ren Zhe erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions wurde die Arbeit Invincible für HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.421,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Infinite Sprit of Allegiance im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 280.315,10).
