Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Indomitable Presence by Ren Zhe. The price achieved of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 44,657.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ren Zhe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Infinite Sprit of Allegiance in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 280,315.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Indomitable Presence von Ren Zhe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 44.657,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ren Zhe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Infinite Sprit of Allegiance im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 280.315,10).
