Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spur On Urge On by Ren Zhe was sold in the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in New York in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,904.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Zhe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Infinite Sprit of Allegiance in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 280,315.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spur On Urge On von Ren Zhe wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.904,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Infinite Sprit of Allegiance im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 280.315,10).
