In November 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art, which included the work Urbanisme Moderne by Reimond Kimpe. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,736.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reimond Kimpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Urbanisme Moderne von Reimond Kimpe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.736,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
