Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zhizni by Rebecca Warren was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,127.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rebecca Warren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fascia Iii in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 555,000.00 (€ 644,171.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zhizni von Rebecca Warren wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.127,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Warren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fascia Iii im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 555.000,00 (€ 644.171,71).
