This artwork by Rebecca Warren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2020. In the New Now auction, the work Noir, comme mon âme sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,268.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rebecca Warren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fascia Iii in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 555,000.00 (€ 644,171.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rebecca Warren erzielte im März 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Noir, comme mon âme für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.268,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Warren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fascia Iii im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 555.000,00 (€ 644.171,71).
