Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rebecca Ness achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Glasses sold for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,877.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rebecca Ness have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origins in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rebecca Ness erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Glasses für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.877,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rebecca Ness auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Origins im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47).
