Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online, which included the work 9 Repeticiones De Fidel Y Microfonos by Raúl Martínez. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 44,291.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Raúl Martínez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Rosas y estrellas was auctioned for USD 60,480.00 (€ 57,229.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit 9 Repeticiones De Fidel Y Microfonos von Raúl Martínez zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 44.291,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Raúl Martínez konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit Rosas y estrellas für USD 60.480,00 (€ 57.229,37) versteigert.
