Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Raúl Martínez was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,344.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raúl Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rosas y estrellas in October this year with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 57,229.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Raúl Martínez kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.344,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raúl Martínez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rosas y estrellas im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 57.229,37).
