Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work No. 1087 by Rana Begum. The price achieved of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,486.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Rana Begum have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2019 the work No. 426 was auctioned for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,534.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 1087 von Rana Begum zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.486,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rana Begum konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2019 die Arbeit No. 426 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.534,82) versteigert.
