This artwork by Ran In-Ting achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work A Sudden Rain At Tamsui River(Painted In 1972) sold for HKD 200,600.00 (€ 22,587.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 95,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ran In-Ting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ran In-Ting erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit A Sudden Rain At Tamsui River(Painted In 1972) für HKD 200.600,00 (€ 22.587,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 95.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00) versteigert wurde.
