In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Travel & Exploration, which included the work Bamboo by the river, Formosa by Ran In-Ting. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,249.90), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ran In-Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Travel & Exploration durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo by the river, Formosa von Ran In-Ting zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.249,90) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
