The work Fishing Boats by the Misty River by Ran In-Ting was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. With this result, Fishing Boats by the Misty River is even the most expensive work of art by Ran In-Ting that we have observed at auctions so far.
