This artwork by Ran In-Ting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February 2021. In the Travel & Exploration auction, the work Tamsui River, Formosa sold for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,704.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ran In-Ting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ran In-Ting erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel & Exploration wurde die Arbeit Tamsui River, Formosa für GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.704,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
