This artwork by Ran In-Ting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work without title sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,095.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ran In-Ting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ran In-Ting erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.095,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00) versteigert wurde.
