Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Formosan Duck Herders by Ran In-Ting was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 89,250.00 (€ 9,555.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ran In-Ting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Formosan Duck Herders von Ran In-Ting wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 89.250,00 (€ 9.555,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
