The work Formosa in the rain by Ran In-Ting was sold in the Travel & Exploration auction at Bonhams in London in February 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,470.47), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ran In-Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Formosa in the rain von Ran In-Ting wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Travel & Exploration bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.470,47) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
