This artwork by Ran In-Ting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February 2021. In the Travel & Exploration auction, the work Fields in the mountain after the rain sold for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,676.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ran In-Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ran In-Ting erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel & Exploration wurde die Arbeit Fields in the mountain after the rain für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.676,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
