Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noah's Ark by Ramesh Sharma was sold in the Islamic and Indian Works of Art auction at Christies in London in October 2001. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 1,139.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Ramesh Sharma have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work Deers head axe was auctioned for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,898.97).
