Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Mughal dagger with Jade foliated hilt by Ramesh Sharma for GBP 587.50 (€ 949.49). This price was achieved in the auction Islamic and Indian Works of Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ramesh Sharma have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2001 by the work Deers head axe at GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,898.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mughal dagger with Jade foliated hilt von Ramesh Sharma für GBP 587,50 (€ 949,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Islamic and Indian Works of Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ramesh Sharma wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2001 die Arbeit Deers head axe mit GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.898,97).
