Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Humphrey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A/60-61 in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 201,049.69).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Study for Night Moods) von Ralph Humphrey kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.052,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Humphrey erzielen.
